P&I Webinar Explores Pension Surplus Strategies 20 Years After PPA
Pensions & Investments will host a free webinar examining how improved funding levels have transformed many defined benefit pension plans from balance-sheet liabilities into potential strategic assets.
“20 Years Post PPA: How Your Pension Has Evolved From a Liability to an Asset” begins at 1 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The 60-minute program will cover changes in funded status and asset allocation, the evolution of pension risk, the value of surplus assets, and considerations for the future.
NISA representatives Cheryl Hanson, Rick Ratkowski, and Kevin Schuman will lead the discussion. The webinar is designed for pension and investment committee members, investment staff, benefits professionals, and others responsible for overseeing fully funded or nearly fully funded plans.
