About the Conference

The TEXPERS Annual Conference brings together trustees, administrators, and public pension professionals from across Texas for multiple days of education, discussion, and connection focused on public employee retirement systems.

Each spring, the conference is designed around current issues in public fund management, investment trends, governance, and fiduciary responsibilities, while also serving as a forum for sharing best practices among systems across the state.

Galveston Island is accessible via Interstate 45 and is within driving distance of several major Texas metropolitan areas.

• Take Interstate 45 South to Galveston
• Exit at 61st Street and turn right (south)
• Continue on 61st Street to Seawall Boulevard
• Turn left (east) on Seawall Boulevard
• The San Luis Resort is located past 53rd Street, on the north (left) side

Transportation directly to the San Luis Resort from both Houston airports is available through Galveston Limousine Service:

Hotel Reservations

A link to special conference reservation booking rates will be emailed to those who register through the TEXPERS website. The reservation link will be provided upon completion of conference registration once registration is open.
